If Mr Deane should have preserved the Memo referred to by the Chief Justice I think the request for its production should be complied with, though I do not quite see its object.
The Judge's Notes are generally conclusive as to what passed in Court as well as his ruling on a point of Law - as applied to the facts.
All that the Chief Justice has been called upon to do, as it appears to me, is to state whether the passage pointed out in Memo...
